According to a report from Zach Barnett of Football Scoop, Texas A&M is expected to announce Darrell Dickey as its offensive coordinator within 24 hours.

Dickey has been at Memphis for the last six seasons, helping to lead one of the most explosive and high-scoring offenses in the nation.

Former Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher may be at Texas A&M now, but he'll have some familiar faces with him.

"I'm thankful for all the work that Darrell has put in throughout his years at the University of Memphis", Tigers head coach Mike Norvell said.

Dickey served as the offensive coordinator at Memphis from 1986-89 and returned to Memphis in 2012 in the same capacity under Fuente, serving as the OC until 2015. He will bring a lot of experience within the state of Texas as well, having been the head coach at North Texas from 1998-2006.

High on the radar for both Florida State and OR is Ducks defensive coordinator Jim Leavitt.

Norvell's new five-year, $13 million contract included a provision that increased his salary pool for assistant coaches and football staff by $250,000 to $3.01 million, according to two people with direct knowledge of the agreement.
