A spokesman said: "We feel for all of the women impacted by the recent statements made by Morgan Spurlock".

Production has stopped on the upcoming TNT unscripted series "Who Rules the World" following a public admission last week by executive producer Morgan Spurlock of past sexual misconduct.

It was planning to put "Super Size Me 2 Holy Chicken!" on its paid-for streaming service after buying the rights for almost 3 million euro.

The director, who became famous for his Super Size Me documentary film about McDonald's in 2004, posted a lengthy confession via his Twitter account on Thursday evening (December 14th), which detailed an occasion in which he had sex with a female classmate only to later learn that she believed she had been raped.

He wrote: "As I sit around watching hero after hero, man after man, fall at the realisation of their past indiscretions, I don't sit by and wonder 'who will be next?'" The documentary, which features Spurlock as the onscreen narrator and prominent presence in the marketing campaign, was poised to screen at the Berlin Film Festival in February and be released on YouTube's platform in March.

The documentary maker also admitted he paid a settlement to an ex-assistant after he "demeaned and belittled" her by calling her "hot pants" or "sexy pants" in front of colleagues.

Spurlock, who said he had been sexually abused as a child and had a drinking problem, also confessed: "I have been unfaithful to every wife and girlfriend I have ever had". "We should all find the courage to admit we're at fault", he continued.

He said: "But I am also part of the solution. I believe we all can". By recognizing and openly admitting what I've done to further this bad situation, I hope to empower the change within myself.

"More than anything, I'm hopeful that I can start to rebuild the trust and the respect of those I love most".

"There were no charges or investigations, but she wrote about the instance in a short story writing class and called me by name", he said.

"On behalf of Warrior Poets, we as partners have always supported our company and its endeavors".

Chilnick and Galkin said in a statement: "As of today, Morgan Spurlock will be stepping down effective immediately". I will be better.
