A 9-year-old boy in a Cleveland suburb is getting in the holiday spirit by paying it forward to the less fortunate in his community, and the community is taking notice of his selfless act.

Microsoft caught wind of Frye's generosity, Fox 8 reported Saturday, and made a decision to set up a surprise for him: a limited edition Minecraft-themed Xbox One X from none other than Santa himself.

"When they called and told me I was just instantly crying on the phone and I couldn't believe it". Despite being only 6 years old at the time, he clearly recalled having to give back the blanket he received at the end of each night at the shelter and felt the homeless should at the very least have a blanket of their own.

"It was about three years ago, we hit some financial problems, me and my husband and Mikah we ended up losing our home", Frye's mother Sara Brown said. Since then Microsoft got wind of Mikah's selflessness and wanted to repay his kindness. They led him to the back of the store where Santa was waiting to give Mikah a bag full of gifts, including an Xbox. After combing through all the items Mikah began to cry, along with family members reflecting on their good fortune and obstacles they have overcome. "So the first thing he wanted to do is give a blanket that they could keep". "We stayed there for just a few weeks until we found a new place to live". Now that same shelter that helped Mikah and his family are helping to distribute the blankets, with a special note from Mikah attached to each one.

"It's just incredible, it's a blessing, Mikah is a blessing to our family and we thank you very much", said Brant.
