Cold Weather Continues, Slick Roads Still a Concern

Skies will be mostly cloudy Friday with highs ranging from near 20 northeast to the 30s for far western Kansas.

Sunday we warm all the way up to 14, with a little snow possible. Day, there is a 30 percent chance of snow before noon.

Fri: High: 52 Low: 28 Partly cloudy, windy. The wind will be from the north northwest at 10 to 13 miles per hour, gusting to 21 miles per hour. Wind: N/SE 5-15. Low: 13.

Friday will be sunny with a high of 39 and a low of 24. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 18.

Sunday Night: Becoming cloudy. East northeast wind 10 to 13 miles per hour.

Meteorologist Mark Larson says Thursday's messy storm is long gone but the cold air that blew in behind it is here to stay for a while so it's back into the freezer through early next week for most of Kansas. Light and variable wind.
