On December 6, Braylynn was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, a deadly form of brain cancer that has no cure and no survival rate.

Parker said some people are accusing the family of sharing Braylynn's cancer battle for "attention". "A child diagnosed with DIPG today faces the same prognosis as a child diagnosed 40 years ago", the foundation's website states. "The median survival time is 9 months from diagnosis".

Braylynn's mother Ally Parker wrote on Facebook, "In a few days I will have to bury this attractive little girl".

'We will cherish these photos of our warrior princess for our lifetime. "What she doesn't know, though, is that she has ALWAYS been a princess".

The post brought many across the world to tears and led to an outpouring of support for Braylynn's family.

One said: 'My heart breaks for your little girl, may she rip and may the rest of your family and friends find the strength to carry on'. But it gives other kids a little more hope. "We are overwhelmed by the funds raised on behalf of Braylynn! After covering the costs of her funeral and medical expenses, we will treat her sister Lilly with something to remember her sister and then we will be supporting the McKenna Claire Foundation whose mission is raising awareness, increasing community involvement and funding research for pediatric brain cancer", the family wrote on Facebook.

"We do not wish this pain upon anyone". "Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers". She loved Hello Kitty and her birthday was December 10.

The family were told last week that Braylynn, who was pictured beside Sean - who suffers from motor neurone disease and no longer has the ability to speak, was gravely ill, and her condition had deteriorated.

The family is now making funeral arrangements for the girl. "I watched as they cried and prayed for a miracle". 'I'm trying to stay strong for my family'.
