Battlefield 1 is all set to close out its Premium Pass in February with the DLC Apocalypse.

DICE managed to push out nearly three full expansions for its World War 1 shooter Battlefield 1 past year.

As with any Battlefield expansion, Apocalypse will also provide an array of new weapons, vehicles, and gadgets. Fight to the end on the iconic, infamous battlefields of World War 1's final days.

As with previous expansions, the major addition comes in the form of maps. Further specifics on this weren't shared, but the new maps are only playable in this mode. In Passchendaele, you'll have to fight through the mudding countryside of Belgium, turned wasteland by artillery fire. Claw your way across the devastated landscape and huddle for cover in dugouts and tattered ruins. Finally, the River Somme will involve the French defending the wheat fields near the Somme River which have been churned my constant shelling into a hellish, barren place.

NEW MAP (Caporetto): Fight in mountain trenches near the Isonzo River as the Austro-Hungarians face off with the Italian army in an uphill climb. You'll get the chance to use new melee weapons like a meat cleaver and prybar.

The other two maps, London Calling and Razor's Edge are maps named after Clash and AC/DC albums, respectively. As an example, selecting "Paranoia" as an affliction will make players spawn with a permanently attached gas mask, reducing their field of vision and disabling the ability to aim down sights. Of course, new ranks, service assignments, specializations, and dog tags will be included as well. It will debut sometime in February for Premium Pass owners, and you can be you'll see it on the CTE soon.
