Lillard scored 61.6 FanDuel points on Wednesday, compared to his average of 41.9 FanDuel points per game for the season. We scored points like we needed to and we had a presence on the defensive end.

Durant finished the game with 50 points exactly, his first time scoring 50 points in Golden State and the fifth time in his career. But he almost had three more that could have helped his team change the outcome of Wednesday's loss. He hit a three-pointer to potentially bring Golden State to within one point late in the game, but he stepped on the sideline so the shot didn't count. He made all 10 of his free throws, yet the Warriors lost, 123-117, largely because of another sleepy effort in the first quarter when they allowed 40 points and put themselves in a double-digit hole.

Damian Lillard had 44 points and eight assists while CJ McCollum added 29 points for the Blazers.

As his final line implies, Durant did everything possible to attempt to carry the Warriors to a win in a tough road environment. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson each had 17 points while shooting just 12-of-32 combined (37.5 percent), as they were noticeably outplayed by Portland's backcourt.
