For the entire eight hour flight, passengers on the flight had to deal with a three-year-old boy who decided that that day was the day he was going to use up all his energy and pour it into one hell of a tantrum, and New York City artist Shane Townley was able to film the ordeal and of course share it for all to see.

The almost five-minute clip documents the screaming child as he climbs all over the seats, running through the aisles and screaming nonstop.

It's being said that before the plane actually took off, the boy's mother could be heard asking if the flight attendant could turn on the wif sho the boy could be distracted by an iPad. The little boy begins screaming before the flight takes off.

According to the Daily Mail, the boy suffers from an unspecified disability.

The toddler's mum tells him to "calm down", but he wails.

"Child screams like a demon and runs through an 8 hour flight from Germany to. https://youtu.be/hv1aczlrMsk via @YouTube Mom does nothing". The kid can be heard screaming for the entire journey, with the video tracking the hours as they pass like a prisoner marking days on a cell wall. "That was a nightmare - eight hours of screaming", a person said.

The video has attracted dozens of comments both on YouTube and Twitter from appalled viewers. Some have criticised Mr Townley for sharing the video and labelling the child's screams as "demonic" if it's true the toddler has a disability. Unfortunately, not all parents try their best to keep their children quiet. "You're not the only one that is on that plane", the user tweeted. While a baby screaming can be annoying, when passengers see staff and parents doing all they can to improve the situation most people soften.

The ordeal has focused spotlight on the topic of child-free flight zones, which some airlines have considered implementing in the past.
