The stepmother of a 5-year-old boy who's been missing since Saturday has been arrested, officials announced Wednesday.

Sedgwick County Deputy Chief Gavin Seiler says 26-year-old Emily Glass was booked into the county jail Wednesday afternoon on two counts of child endangerment.

He said Tuesday that about 100 officers have been assigned to try and find Lucas, who was reported missing at about 6:15 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of South Edgemoor.

Glass said she last saw Lucas was in his room Saturday afternoon before she showered and fell asleep.

Officers searched Lucas' home, his neighborhood, and a nearby park, however police said they've found no evidence that Lucas was abducted.

"Currently Wichita Police investigators, FBI investigators and members of the FBI Child Abduction Rapid Deployment Team continue to speak to individuals regarding the case and following up on any leads received through our tip line", Wichita Police Department Public Information Officer Charley Davidson told KWCH. Lucas has brown hair and brown eyes, weighs 60 pounds and is four feet tall.

State investigators and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have joined in the search. He was last seen wearing black sweats, white socks and a gray shirt with a bear on it. Authorities are planning more searches, but Davidson did not say where.

She emphasized that the father did not abuse his son and believes it was Lucas' stepmother.

Davidson said again that he couldn't provide any details about the investigation. The family is cooperating with the investigation, authorities said. Wichita police confirmed in a media briefing Monday that they have had contact with the family before, but did not elaborate on the nature of that contact.
