Unfortunately another low looks to develop near the ArkLaTex Tuesday afternoon which could produce more scattered showers and a few storms across Acadiana.

A cold front is pushing south and will bring the potential for rain and thunderstorms on Sunday. The radar remains active at this hours with scattered showers.

After the rain moves out Sunday, temperatures will begin to take a tumble. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s. Showers and storms will move in from the West late Saturday night into Sunday morning. Most spots will hover in the lower 60s by Sunday afternoon.

After a handsome day full of sunshine, and even record breaking heat yesterday, rain returns to the forecast today adn possibly a few thunderstorms. Minor flooding is possible along small creeks and streams due to the recent snow melt and very saturated ground. Most of the stronger and severe weather will stay to our north. So, Thursday could be the start of some nice weather! High temperatures will return to the low 80s this afternoon under a partly sunny sky. The dry weather will last through Wednesday when clouds are expected to increase, leading to our next bout of unsettled weather late in the week. This system may linger into Saturday.

This round will bring moderate to heavy showers and storms. Have a great and safe rest of the weekend!
