With WWE's Women's Division already making history twice in 2018 with the first ever Women's Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber matches, WWE decided it was time to make history one more time.

Yesterday, WWE announced the Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal which will feature wrestlers from all three brands even though some fans question the decision to name the event after her. Becky Lynch told Sportskeeda that Moolah was the obvious choice because of her notoriety in wrestling.

There could be as many as five matches with women's competitors involved, but one match that was announced last night is a flawless solution to try and get every deserved woman on the card at the granddaddy of them all.

Moolah was a four-time women's champion in WWE, and her most recent reign came in 1999 after she had turned 75 years old.

Had she'd been alive, Monday would have been Moolah's tag partner and close friend Mae Young's 95th birthday.

In her own right, Lynch has been part of the "women's revolution" in WWE including her Inter-Gender match against James Ellsworth of which Lynch loved being part. I can only imagine how proud she & The Fabulous Moolah would be of the Women's Evolution today.
