Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, who jointly run the production company Pearl Street Company, are reportedly set to include the inclusion rider in their future projects.

Actors Chris Hemsworth and Matt Damon's wives got matching tattoos after the families spent Christmas together.

Their news comes after Black Panther Michael B Jordan announced that he would add an inclusion rider on all movies made by his Outlier Society production company.

Their colleague Fanshen Cox DiGiovanni announced the news on Twitter during the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival in Texas. The move came a week after actress Frances McDorrmand sparked interest and support for the term after she concluded her Oscars best actress acceptance speech by saying, "I have two words to leave with you tonight, ladies and gentlemen: inclusion rider".

Cox DiGiovanni referred to Jordan in her announcement, saying, "Thank you for always supporting broader representation in the industry. On behalf of Pearl Street Films, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Todd, Drew Vinton and I will be adopting the #InclusionRider for all of our projects moving forward".

According to the University of Southern California, where Dr Smith is an associate professor, the concept of an inclusion rider is: "A-list actors can incorporate a clause in their contracts that stipulates that inclusion, both on camera and behind the scenes for crew members, be reflected in films".
