Mohamed Salah's transfer value has increased the most of any player in Europe's top leagues during the last six months, according to new data.

Ederson isn't the only Man City star on the list, with Leroy Sane seeing a €63m increase in his transfer value.

Based on an algorithm developed by the CIES Football Observatory's research team, the Liverpool winger edged the Brazilian by less than half-a-million.

The Egyptian, who has scored 24 goals in 29 league matches for Jurgen Klopp's side so far, has now apparently caught Real's attention, and it has been said the club wants to see him in an overhauled front line they are trying to assemble from next season.

He was instrumental in Egypt's successful campaign in the World Cup qualifiers, which saw the Pharaohs reach football's most prestigious tournament for the first time since 1990.

Reports suggest that Liverpool will expect the Madrid club to pay more for the African star than what FC Barcelona paid for Brazil worldwide Philippe Coutinho while, according to El Confidencial, they want as much as Monaco got when they sold Kylian Mbappe to Paris Saint-Germain - £166 million (R2.7 billion).

Monaco starlet Rony Lopes could be tempted with a return to Manchester City. the 22-year-old spent two years at the Etihad but moved to Monaco without having made an appearance for the Premier League side.

Manchester United target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic's value has increased by £36m.
