As the third nor-easter in as many weeks hits the east coast, airports across the corridor are cancelling hundreds of flights.

JetBlue, Southwest Airlines, Delta Airlines, and United Airlines each said in statements Monday that they would waive change or cancellation fees to customers traveling to and from Boston if they rescheduled their flight, and urged customers to check frequently for updates on potential flight cancellations.

Up to two feet of snow is expected to be dumped on parts of New England, which will also be battered by high winds causing possible power outages.

NY could get 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 centimeters) of snow by early Tuesday, with more falling on eastern Long Island and coastal CT, the National Weather Service said.

Winter Storm Skylar is the third to hit the northeast of the U.S. in less than a month.

Waivers have been issued for all major carriers including JetBlue, Delta, United and American Airlines for flights in and out of airports from ME to Pennsylvania.

More than a dozen airports in the region are significantly affected.
