While certainly entertaining, Swift's latest release has already drawn sharp critique from fans who have accused her of copying Spike Jonze's 2016 fragrance commercial for Kenzo.

In Swift's video, the pop star, who becomes bored with being interviewed by the press, also makes amusing faces in the mirror before realizing she is invisible.

When one is as huge a star as Taylor Swift, it becomes unfathomable to consider what it might be like to dance through life as if nobody's looking.

Taylor Swift dropped the video for new single "Delicate" on Sunday (11 March) but people have just noticed a familiar face in it.

In the "Delicate" video, Taylor plays an worldwide superstar who becomes invisible at a fancy event. The video opens with Swift being interviewed at a red carpet event when a mysterious guy dressed as a bellboy hands her a note. Upon discovering this, she dances and shimmies her way out of her shoes and the hotel, making her way to the 7th/Metro Center station.

The video shows off the very best of Swift and what endears her to her legions of fans - the ideal of a goofy and real person that always manages to fight its way up through her veneer of celebrity.

At the end of the video, it appears Taylor Swift had found her mysterious man and smiles as everything fades to black without actually revealing the identity of the guy. And those are all the things you'd think you'd want in a video, but they wouldn't fill what you need out of a song like that.
