Juventus boss, Massimiliano Allegri has told friends that he is keen on the Arsenal job - if under-fire Arsene Wenger is axed at the end of the season.

"It is a massive opportunity for us so it's something we've got to be prepared to give everything for to try to achieve this", Ramsey said in Wednesday's press conference.

Aubameyang is cup-tied despite not playing in the Europa League this season because Dortmund dropped from the Champions League into the Europa League, making him ineligible to represent his new club due to UEFA rules.

Wenger's team selection for the win over Watford confirmed his previous suggestion that he sees qualification for the game's great cash cow via the league as being beyond his side at this stage.

In spite of many big-name managers been linked with the Emirates job, Paul Merson feels Brendan Rodgers should be the man to replace Arsene Wenger.

The 2-0 lead means Arsenal don't necessarily have to win this match but it would still be nice to do just that.

Wenger revealed some of his players underwent tests this morning but he only has Alexandre Lacazette missing through injury.

The Gunners have lost four of their last six games, but they seemed to claw some form back on Sunday when they beat Watford 3-0 at the Emirates.

Alexandre Lacazette will miss the match following knee surgery, but is expected return to action following the worldwide break.

The 26-year-old was also absent as the Gunners beat AC Milan 2-0 at the San Siro in the first leg of their last-16 Europa League clash.

"We saw how good they are", he said.

"On my side nothing has changed".

The Frenchman is head coach of New York City FC, and now understands the plight of managers since becoming one himself, but believes his former boss should be allowed to control his own future, regardless of how bad the current situation may be. "He has the right to take that decision himself". You pick the best team to win the next game.
