Powell, whose scoring credits include the Bourne series, Shrek, the first two Kung Fu Panda films and both How to Train Your Dragon films shared a post on his official Facebook revealing that he is now hard at work scoring Solo: A Star Wars Story at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, England.

It seems composer John Powell has already begun working on the score of Lucasfilm's sci-fi saga, Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Powell is the latest non-Williams composer to hop into the Star Wars galaxy. They left the sound off so there's no telling how animated folks got trying to figure out where flap A goes into slot B, but it's still the kind of thing you're tempted to want to put up in your house whether you have the room or not. Hopefully, he finds a way to implement the excitement of the music from the flying scenes from How to Train Your Dragon and incorporate them during the numerous scenes involving the Millennium Falcon in flight.

Solo: A Star Wars Story features Hail, Caesar's Alden Ehrenreich as Han, with Atlanta's Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian and The Force Awakens' Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca.

Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm have released a video showing the assembly of a Solo: A Star Wars Story theater standee! Woody Harrelson is playing Han's mentor, a man by the name of Beckett, while Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke, Westworld's Thandie Newton, Avengers' Paul Bettany, and Fleabag's Phoebe Waller-Bridge also star.

Giacchino composed the score of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and Powell will follow up with the Han Solo spinoff film.

Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters May 25.
