Announced in a Capcom livestream, Deviljho itself, Deviljho quests, and all its associated rewards will be dropped into the game with the update.

April brings with it a whole range of new content to Monster Hunter: World, too.

The first major update for Monster Hunter World, the latest entry in the series released earlier this year on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, is going to be released very soon in all regions.

Update: Capcom has gone over all the new updates in a blog post.

The headline addition in this update is a new monster named Deviljho, who promises to be a challenging foe for players who have long mastered the existing roster. This one-time use item will allow players to completed edit any part of their hunter they like aside from their already selected name. Alongside the Deviljho DLC, Capcom will also be introducing a new Monster Hunter World containing a bunch of improvements.

Other major changes include reduced loading times, the ability to return to the Gathering Hall multiplayer area after a quest, alongside a raft of balance tweaks to nearly all of the game's 14 weapon types. More details on these updates will be available when it is released so hunters can see if their play styles can be adjusted or simply benefited from the changes. Still, with many of us have fallen out of love with our in-game avatar, it'll be nice to finally change the face beneath all that hefty gear. Look forward to celebrating the Spring Blossom Festival that will run from April 5 to April 18 with hunters around the world.
