However, more information regarding the device is not available at the moment. The smartphone will feature a notch at the top of the display similar to that of the iPhone X. The notch will not house any sophisticated depth sensing camera tech like iPhone's TrueDepth camera but it will support face unlock feature using its front camera. The F7 is expected to arrive later this month, but ahead of launch Oppo has shared several teaser images which show off the upcoming device's full-screen display and - you guessed it - an iPhone X-style notch. The smartphone is said to have 89.09 percent screen-to-body ratio. The upcoming Oppo R series smartphone will be called the Oppo R15. Although 2:1 displays are now mainstream, the OPPO F7 comes with a 6.2-inch touchscreen that provides 2,280 x 1,080 pixels, so its ratio is a non-standard 19:9.

The Oppo F7 will be a selfie-centric smartphone so one can expect a high-resolution image sensor at the front. The banner confirms that the Oppo F7 could feature a 25MP AI-powered selfie camera. According to the invite, the Oppo F7 will get certain artificial intelligence features, and will be announced in the presence of three Indian cricketers - namely, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Ravichandran Ashwin - which was revealed through the brand's Twitter handle.
