Prince George must still be getting lots of use out of last year's Christmas present, as Prince William revealed yesterday that his four-year-old son is "obsessed" with the police.

Prince William joined Prince Harry at the Met Excellence Awards reception at Kensington Palace this week, where he made the revelation about his son to some of Scotland Yard's finest. The duo met with 17-year-old, Nabil Laasid who won Cadet of Year.

After PC Jayne Richardson joked that the Kensington and Chelsea district was looking for more volunteers if George or Princess Charlotte-William's second child with wife Kate Middleton-were interested, the Duke revealed that George would probably leap at the opportunity.

Prince George asked for a toy police auto last Christmas, with Prince William even handing a handwritten Christmas list from his young son over to "Father Christmas" while on an official trip to Finland in November 2017. Despite the room for more gift requests, Prince George only had one wish- a police vehicle.

"I've seen you and I had to give you this letter", the Duke said.

Prince George had circled that he had been "nice" this year, over "naughty".

One of this year's winners is PC Philip Stone, who was one of the people who helped out during the Manchester Arena bombing, as well as the Grenfell fire in 2017.

Prince William and Prince Harry spent time Tuesday evening speaking to the guests.
