Paul Scholes, Steven Gerrard and Rio Ferdinand laid into Alexis Sanchez after yet another bad performance.

One user said: "Alexis Sanchez's best performance with Manchester United was playing the piano".

It has become a bit of a joke to laugh at Arsenal because they made the noise "finally we got rid of Alexis Sanchez" It's been under-reported just how badly the whole Arsenal dressing room hated Alexis Sanchez.

Sanchez's form towards the end of his Arsenal career was not great.

Scholes blasted the 29-year-old after the game. The Red Devils have already got attacking players in abundance.

"It was very hard watching that, it was hard watching the first game".

Given the success of other English teams in the Champions League, a level of collective success that is unprecedented, many naturally assumed the Red Devils would follow suit and advance. However, played in the right position, the former Valencia star can be a highly productive player for any team.

"When you've got Pogba and Sanchez in the same team, the last thing you want is them holding hands". "Whether they've improved as a team is a different story, but I think it is a happier dressing room".

Manchester United are now preparing for their FA Cup quarter-final clash against Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon as they bid to reach the semi-finals.

Arsenal would put up stats inside the dressing room previous year after every game showing the amount of kilometres run, the passing, and Sanchez would regularly come out with the lowest mileage run of any player in the team by a big distance. The Chilean hit man's mega move was touted as one of the best for United in recent times and deservingly so as United's fierce rivals were also competing for his signatures and he was arriving from the clutches of another rival. However, United fans must be questioning his place in the team right now after Tuesday's display.
