The Cleveland Browns have been quite active in the early days of free agency, activity that has continued well into Wednesday.

Dorsey also traded for Packers cornerback Damarious Randall on Friday, and he's already penciled in as the starting free safety.

Carrie, 27, had been with the Oakland Raiders his entire career, landing in the Bay Area by way of a seventh-round pick of the 2014 NFL Draft after he finished up his collegiate career in the MAC with the Ohio Bobcats.

Last season, Carrie amassed 70 tackles, 9 passes defended and 2 interceptions. He was Oakland's primary punt returner for his two years.

According to National Football League insider Adam Caplan, Carrie's deal spans four years and is worth a total of $31 million, with $10 million guaranteed.

With Carrie gone, the Raiders may be expecting Conley to step up into a starting role across from Amerson during his second season, while draft and free-agency options are on the table as well. The deal comes with $10 million in guaranteed money. Carrie may not be a splashy player, but he is solid, which is certainly something the Browns-who ranked 19th in passing yards allowed and 31st in interceptions, with seven-need.
