Former Arsenal midfielder, Emmanuel Petit, has advised Manchester United's Paul Pogba to stop "sulking" and making his situation with manager Jose Mourinho a "duel".

The Red Devils have been coming to terms with the disappointment of their Champions League exit at the hands of Sevilla at Old Trafford on Tuesday night after a shock 2-1 loss at the last 16 stage.

It's understood Pogba had arranged to speak to the Manchester United boss over his unhappiness with his tactics and the position was being played in.

Reports of a fallout between Mourinho and Pogba have rumbled under the surface throughout this season, but Scholes backed Mourinho's decision to drop the France worldwide.

However, former Manchester United star Ince believes that it is clear that the Red Devils need to bring in players who have the capability to galvanise their team-mates through hard situations.

But Petit urged him to stop sending out "negative signals".

"Sometimes he can be in a bit more hard, but that does not change what I think about him".

'It gets tiresome when you're sulking permanently'.

The first of these is obviously Paul Pogba, but the management of the cases Mkhitaryan and Alexis Sanchez is also under the leadership's magnifying glass considering, among other things, the words of Adrian Mutu on Zlatan Ibrahmovic and his compromised relationship with Special One.
