While the BJP is the voice of an organization, the Congress is the voice of the nation. The Kauravas were extremely well organized, had huge army money but arrogant.

Rahul said, "Will India live a lie or will India have the courage to face the truth? The people of India felt let down by us".

"Rahul, unite all the workers (Congress), because next year you are going to wave the flag from the Red Fort", said Sidhu, indicating that Gandhi would become the prime minister if Congress or its led alliance comes to power after the general elections, scheduled to take place next year. She accused Rahul of supporting people who allegedly chanted slogans about breaking up the country at JNU two years ago. Gandhi also added that like the Kauravas, the BJP had "made a man accused of murder their President".

The meeting began at 12:00 noon and was attended among others by former Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh and senior Congress leader Anand Sharma, a source in New Delhi said. Continuing his tirade against the Prime Minister, Rahul charged Prime Minister Modi of diverting the attention of the public from the "real issues" from GST to even doing yoga at India Gate.

"Like the Kauravas, the BJP and RSS fight for power". They tell the Tamils, change your lovely language, they tell people of north-east we don't like what you eat, tell women dress properly. "We are human, we make mistakes but Modiji thinks he is a reincarnation of God, he can't make mistakes", Rahul said.

The Congress leader added that the corrupt and powerful today "control conversation" in the country and the "name Modi symbolises the collusion between crony capitalists and the Prime Minister". "But, the Congress can not be stopped from seeking the truth and justice", the Congress president said.

On Rahul's remark that PM Narendra Modi shares his name with "one who carried out the biggest theft" (Nirav Modi) and "the most corrupt man in cricket" (Lalit Modi), she said, "If I have to go by the same count, the Congress president shares the name of the Father of the Nation, and is out on bail".

"You can steal Rs 33,000 crore from the banks and the BJP government will protect you. They tell our farmers to work for nothing", said Rahul.

"I will break the wall between leaders and workers". They told Gauri Lankesh and Kalburgi to shut up or you'll be killed.

Earlier, Congress circles were abuzz with Gandhi opting for elections to the Working Committee which are conducted during the AICC Plenary.
