Now, makers have finally found the leading lady, none other than newbie Sanjana Sanghi. There were a lot names popping up as to who will romance Sushant Singh Rajput in this romantic drama.

Mumbai: Sushant Singh Rajput took to Twitter Monday morning to introduce his The Fault In Our Stars remake co-star Sanjana Sanghi. For the unversed, Sanjana has featured in several films like Rockstar and Hindi Medium, apart from doing television commercials. Then she was seen in Hindi Medium where she played the role of Meeta, she nailed the role with utter grace.

Sanjana posted this news on Instagram and wrote, " F I N A L L Y▪️ Proud and honoured to be a part of this! FaultInOurStars! Thank you @CastingChhabra &foxstarhindi for this opportunity.

Mukesh Chhabra's directorial debut now has a leading lady. "After a few years she reconnected for a few ad casting jobs - she came across as a mature young lady and to my surprise she was a fabulous actor", Chhabra said in a statement. Rucha Pathak, Chief Creative Officer, Fox Star Studios, that is producing the film, informed that Mukesh had called her one day to meet Sanjana. "Once The Fault in Our Stars script was ready, she fitted right in, the flawless face", he added. "She's the flawless face and I can't wait to create magic with this talented girl".

The actress will now play the role of the terminally ill Hazel Green portrayed by Shailene Woodley in the original film, while Rajput will play the terminally ill boy who steals her heart. The film (and the book) delves into the minds of cancer patients who look forward to something more than just receiving solidarity and consoling.
