The Egyptian superstar added another four goals and an assist during the Reds' 5-0 victory over Watford, adding to his stunning Premier League tally this season. More importantly, they are now seven points clear of fifth-placed Chelsea in the tussle for the top four and Champions League qualification.

Mohamed Salah's goal scoring exploits this season are having a similarly positive impact at Liverpool to that of Luis Suarez when the Uruguayan was at Anfield, according to club captain Jordan Henderson.

Salah is the first Liverpool player to score four goals in a league match since Luis Suarez in 2013 and it took him only four minutes to get started, firing in after his ball control and pace left Watford's defence floundering.

Notably, the 47-year-old Spanish tactician was in-charge of Osasuna when Messi's hat-trick helped Barcelona complete a 7-0 thrashing in the 2013/14 La Liga season.

Salah, who is notably ahead of Messi in the race for the European Golden Boot with the Argentine now lagging three goals behind his league tally, is not the only one hard to stop, but Liverpool as a team as well, according to Gracia who rates the two sides as the best in Europe today.

Liverpool have 63 points from 31 games, two more than Tottenham Hotspur who have played 30. "I want to say sorry for the fans because they come so far and thank you for their support and I feel sorry for the result".

"It is very hard to play against them, because they can both score in any moment". They are both so good in their own right.

There is one eye-catching statistic that could blow the whole debate wide open and begin to make people compare the Liverpool man to Messi. "They all showed their quality in different ways".

Please give us the same performance against Manchester City Don't play with my feelings, Liverpool ❤. "Sometimes you just can't do anything", Gracia explained.

"It's the best moment of my career".
