Chinese publisher Tencent has launched one of the biggest PC games in the world on iOS and Android devices around the world.

PUBG Mobile is a faithful adaptation of the PC version for mobile devices that will change the way people perceive and think about mobile gaming. "We are working hard to create an authentic PUBG mobile experience that players new and old will love".

For those unaware, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds was already available in this iteration in Asia for quite some time, and then the title made its way to Canada last week, so its release for iOS and Android in the U.S. will surely please those living stateside who exclusively game on mobile devices. You may soon be having a "battle royale" of your own on your smartphone, however, over which mobile game you want to play between this and Fortnite. Whilst the mobile game will not have the same graphical fidelity and depth as the PC title, the core gameplay has been preserved. 100 players are dropped on an enormous 8×8 km battlefield.

Get to the end and you win the infamous chicken dinner accolade.

Unreal Engine 4 brings a phenomenal visual experience with detail rendering, an expansive HD map, and realistic scenes.

With a large selection of firearms, melee weapons, and throwables with realistic ballistics and trajectories, this is the ideal combat experience on mobile.

Tencent will continue making improvements on the game over time, but based on what we've heard so far, it's pretty solid - so definitely give it a download and check it out. The game that started the recent battle royale craze, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, is now available on mobile as well. And Android version of Fortnite is coming at a later date.
