The first eliminator match between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi on 21st March also began late owing to the weather forecast and ended in a dramatic win for Zalmi.

Peshawar will now take on Karachi Kings in the second eliminator in Lahore on Wednesday and the victor of that match will face Islamabad United in the final in Karachi on Sunday.

Peshawar Zalmi are facing off against the Karachi Kings on Wednesday for a place in the final. The all-rounder has missed a fair number of games this season because of a knee injury, and will have to miss the all-important clash after not recovering sufficiently from the persistent swelling. Cricket fans can also view the match online on the PSL-T20 Official website. Afridi is playing for the Kings for the first time and had expressed his desire to play in the finals that are being held on March 25 in his hometown Karachi.

Earlier, Kamran smashed the Karachi Kings bowlers at will to take Peshawar to a solid total after they were put into bat by Karachi Kings skipper Mohammad Amir. It will be interesting to see how the pacer responds to additional responsibility.

The match started at 8:15pm.

However, the players who arrived in Lahore with the Quetta side include Rilee Rossouw, Mahmudullah, Chris Green, Thisara Perera, Johnson Charles and Tom Kohler Cadmore. There is a possibility of a washout as well.

Islamabad United have already qualified to play the final in Karachi.
