The G6 Plus alongside the Moto G6 and G6 Play will be launched on April 19th in Brazil, the former being the most expensive variant in the lineup. Now, the Moto G6 Plus has been spotted on a benchmark site revealing some specifications of the upcoming smartphone.

As per a Geekbench listing, the Moto G6 Plus will be powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM. According to the listing, the Moto G6 Plus has a score of 4123 points in multi-core performance and 866 in the single-core.

Earlier it was believed that the Moto G6 Plus will come equipped with Snapdragon 630 SoC, but the listing now appears to suggest otherwise. Based on the speed of rumours and reports in past few weeks, it looks like the company will most likely announce the Moto G6 lineup which is set to include the Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play. It is also speculated that the smartphone will be available in a 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version as well. We've also seen the Moto G6 Plus' design and build plus the specs and pricing of the G6. The benchmark listing also tips that the smartphone will run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The renders tipped that there could be an elongated display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

The Moto G6 Plus will arrive together with the entry-level Moto G6 and the fun-loving Moto G6 Play.

Thanks to advancements in technology as well as improvements in economics, mid-range phones have narrowed the gap between them and high-end premium models. Additionally, the Moto G6 Plus is expected to come with a dual rear camera setup, with one 12-megapixel sensor and one 5-megapixel sensor, and a 5-megapixel front camera. We can expect the Moto G6 Plus to compete against the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Nokia 6 priced in the similar bracket.
