"Instead, we advise that you make use of the Search for Online Session function or Squad Sessions to find or build a hub ready to take on this massive feat". This monster looks like a combination of a ram and a dragon. Players should be on the lookout for a special delivery request after taking on their first Kulve Taroth Siege. At the end of the trailer, we even see a golden Gajalaka armor for our dear Palicoes. It will appear as part of a limited time Kulve Taroth Siege event.

With the conclusion of the Zorah Magdaros and Nergigante investigations, the path is now clear for the arrival of the majestic Elder Dragon Kulve Taroth. The parties will divide into groups of up to four but their collective efforts are needed to investigate and hunt the Elder Dragon down. Naturally, Kulve Taroth gives you access to new equipment in the form of weapons and armour, assuming you can acquire the necessary materials from its scaly form. The type and stats of these weapons "are entirely up to fate", so expect something interesting at least. After successfully doing enough damage to repel it, bits and pieces acquired during the course of the event can be taken to the blacksmith to create new armor for both humans and Palicos.

As you attack the Kulve Taroth, you'll dismantle portions of its armor.

The Kulve Taroth Siege will commence on 18th April at 5pm PT/19th April 1am BST, arriving alongside Monster Hunter: World's second free content update. This'll be a limited time event, meaning that you'll want to get stuck in whenever it swings around. Monster Hunter: World is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
