FO rejects Modi's claims of surgical strikes across LoC

Modi told his British counterpart yesterday that there would be no dilution in the importance of the United Kingdom to India after it leaves the European Union, as the two leaders agreed to infuse new energy into bilateral ties post-Brexit.

There were chants like "Bharat Mata Ki Jai", "Vande Matram", "Modi-Modi" on arrival of Indian Prime Minister which symbolize PM Narendra Modi as a Great Leader at national as well as worldwide level.

According to her, Modi during the two executive sessions across the day, said that India will help these nations through the National Institute of Oceanography in Goa. There were almost 39,000 alleged attacks in 2016, an increase of 12% on the previous year.

In what seems to be a veiled message to Pakistan, Modi said during his speech in London that "antics of those exporting terror and trying to backstab us will not be tolerated" and "they will be answered in a language they understand".

"When a child is raped, do we compare metrics versus earlier governments?"

"We face many challenges in the world today. There can not be a worse way to deal with this issue", PM Modi said, referring to statistics shared by Congress leaders.

Placards reading "Modi go home" and "we stand against Modi's agenda of hate and greed" were held up by the noisy demonstrators near Downing Street and the British parliament as Modi arrived for talks with British Prime Minister Theresa May.

Eight accused have been arrested in the case, and have pleaded not guilty.

While a Tamil group protested against government policies in the region, two women couldn't stop singing Modi's praises.

Dr Faisal said widespread protests in India over the brutal torture and murder of Muslim minor girl Asifa in Kathua, IHK was a big failure of Indian government. The students came to the social networking site, Facebook, and said in its Facebook page that they did not receive the tickets of the event where PM Modi was expected to respond to its letter on justice to rape victims and on women safety issues in India.

Insisting that India has changed after his government came to power, Modi warned Pakistan against exporting terror, saying in such events India will give a fitting reply.

The prime minister said the recent cases of sexual assault were a matter of shame for India. "Through press [reports] I know that he used to criticize me for not speaking up". Maliwal has been on a hunger strike since April 13 to push for stricter laws for rape in India. "Always remember the country, not Modi", he said.
