Then, earlier this week, Microsoft's Dona Sarkar (who is head of Windows testing) clarified that Windows 10 had indeed suffered from some reliability issues that caused outright crashes (BSODs), but that a fresh preview build (17134) which was pushed out solved these. The Build that brings a Fluent Design refresh to Windows Defender Security Center also brings other changes, fixes and improvements.

"This just reinforces that Windows Insiders are critical to helping us find and fix issues before releasing feature updates to all our customers so thank you!" they noted. The company also fixed issue with the elements on the main page of Windows Defender Security Center app.

Non default languages which unexpectedly had the option remove in Settings was greyed out. Microsoft recently had issues with build 17133, which was the original sign-off build of Redstone 4 before Microsoft found a last minute blocking bug. An issue with the Color Filters and High Contrast icons were switched in Settings has also been fixed by the Windows development team.

If you are a Fast ring Insider now on the build 17134, you can test this bug yourself by going to Settings Apps Default apps Set defaults by app Set defaults by app.

There are some known issue too that you may like to take a look at before installing this Build.

Movies & TV app crashes when user denies access to its videos library through the pop up window or Windows Privacy Settings.

Tiling and cascading Windows will not work for inactive tabs.

Opening an Office document while the same app has an existing document open may cause an unintended switch to the last active document.

Local files or non-Microsoft cloud files will not be automatically restored and no error message will be provided to alert the user to that fact.

The top of some Win32 desktop app windows may appear slightly underneath the tab bar when created maximized.

The Narrator would read extra text when invoking Alt + Tab.

If you complete the setup for a Windows Mixed Reality headset on this build, the headset will remain black until it is unplugged and reconnected to the PC. You'll need to use another input method (mouse, touch, or touchpad). Build 17134, which is now being tested by the Fast ring Insiders, is experiencing problems with the Settings app.
