Contract negotiations are now underway with the HBO series, Newton told Vanity Fair, saying, "We're all equal across the board". It's-goodness; it shatters so much calcified pain, resentment, frustration.

Newton's revelation comes nearly a week after costar Evan Rachel Wood told TheWrap that her paycheck didn't match her status for the series' first two seasons.

It appears Westworld's leading ladies will receive the same pay as their male co-stars.

Meanwhile, co-star Thandie Newton revealed to Vanity Fair that she'll also be getting equal pay come season 3.

Speaking to The Daily Beast, Newton said: 'I just wanted to cry because I never, ever had been treated like that in a situation where I was nude, and I've been nude or semi-nude a lot in movies and it took me a moment to recover myself to carry on. Then again, in the first season, she was acting alongside heavyweights like Anthony Hopkins (Dr. Robert Ford) and Ed Harris (the Man in Black), who commanded fatter paychecks thanks to their reputations and awards recognition. "F-k that. It literally sets a precedent, and [HBO is] leading the way, which is awesome". "I was like, 'I have never been paid the same as my male counterparts ..."

Casey Bloys, an executive with HBO, had told The Hollywood Reporter for an April interview that the network was "proactively" cleaning house of any glaring pay disparities. "And that's is a direct result of the Times Up movement".

Westworld's second season features considerably less nude scenes overall, or in the words of producer Lisa Joy, 'They're going to spend a lot less time naked on a stool'.
