3LAU: "I can not express enough that @Avicii revolutionized dance music, and effortlessly". He took to Twitter to tweet some words about Avicii shortly after news of his death hit the internet.

A few of Avicii's well-known hits embody "Wake Me Up!", "Ranges" and "You Make Me". I know he's inspired millions of other producers out there.

Singer Wyclef Jean said he was like his "little brother", and will be missed. Avicii had suffered from health issues that caused him in 2016 to announce his retirement from touring.

He released his debut LP True in 2013, and that record's country-EDM single with Aloe Blacc, "Wake Me Up", peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in 2013. "The scene was not for me".

Dance-music industry revenue-including music sales, live shows, and related products-grew by almost 40% in 2014, according to the International Music Summit. But I've gotten so many supportive texts from friends in the industry, other DJs, other artists. I'm more of an introverted person in general. It was always very hard for me.
