Her story, detailing her undetected pregnancy, swift global labor, and quick thinking, has received thousands of likes and retweets on Twitter, along with worldwide news coverage across Europe and the United States. "Maybe it'll set in one day". She says she made a decision to "get it together" and get to her hotel as soon as possible.

And because Tia is now Pickle's favourite person, she made a decision to recount her incredible story in GIF form. According to Freeman, she didn't even find out she was expecting until very late in her pregnancy, and she was admittedly shocked.

She says she'd learned she was pregnant during her third trimester.

Up until that point, Freeman wrote in her thread, she hadn't experienced any weight gain, and the birth control she used completely stopped her monthly period. But she had already planned vacations to Germany and she did not want to cancel it as the worldwide tickets are expensive.

"I had already purchased tickets for a vacay in Germany and ya girl was not about to waste global flight money".

While Freeman hoped the timing would work out in her favor, her little prince had another idea in mind. "Everyone is calling me courageous or a superhero, but truthfully I think anyone in my position could have done it", Freeman wrote to the Dot.

We'll just say it: This woman MacGyvered her baby's birth. "So I go to sleep and wake up as we're landing and I notice my cramps have gotten astronomically worse". I just knew I had food poisoning.

Freeman told BuzzFeed that no one in her family had known she was pregnant. So instead of visiting a doctor she boarded the flight.

'I make it to my hotel & now I'm sure I'm in labor. At this point, I feel like I'm about to pass out. "I'm going through it", she explained. Lol now let me tell you babies are buoyant.

Not keen to give birth at the airport, she chose to go to her hotel room and started watching YouTube videos to find the best way to deliver a baby.

Freeman told the Independent that despite all the risks she took, she wouldn't change a thing. Both she and baby Xavier are healthy.

Aside from the fact that she essentially attempted to "ignore" her pregnancy and embark on a trip to Germany that she had planned, her MacGyver-type skills and essentially YouTubing how to give birth by yourself is seriously hard to believe, but it's all true - she even became a minor celebrity in Turkey after the news broke.

While her story had a happy ending, the medical bills relating to her pregnancy are high.

Well that is one birth story we haven't heard before.
