Between Carson Wentz continuing to recover from his torn ACL to Alshon Jeffery hoping to be ready for Week 1 as well following surgery on his torn rotator cuff, the Eagles will have quite the challenge ahead of them come September.

Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham underwent surgery on his right ankle recently, according to ESPN.

The Eagles' first OTA is scheduled to begin May 22. Wentz will miss all of the preseason after tearing two ligaments in his left knee against the Los Angeles Rams on December 10.

Graham was listed on the Eagles' injury reports after the Christmas Day win over the Raiders, but he remained effective and forced the game-altering fumble in Philly's Super Bowl victory over the Patriots in February.

He is entering the final year of a four-year, $26 million contract he signed in 2015. He's been incredibly durable during his career; the meaningless Week 17 game he skipped due to his ankle injury was the first regular season game he's missed since 2011. He is scheduled to make $7 million in base salary this season. Michael Bennett was acquired in a trade with Seattle, and the Eagles used a fourth-round draft pick on Josh Sweat. They will join holdovers Derek Barnett, Graham and Chris Long.
