The network responded to the actress's complaints right away.

Former NCIS star Pauley Perrette has been in the news a lot lately, mainly because she's been claiming that she was at the receiving end of a lot of physical and emotional abuse while she was employed by the hit CBS show, but an explosive claim from her now-ex-husband suggests that she's not a victim of bad behavior, but a perpetrator. There was speculation she left over an ongoing dispute with co-star Mark Harmon, whose pitbull was often present on set and allegedly injured a crew member. A very rich, very powerful publicity 'machine.' No morals, no obligation to truth, and I'm just left here, reading the lies, trying to protect my crew. But now I KNOW because it was ME! Multiple physical assaults. I REALLY get it now.

She concluded by pleading with her social media followers to: "Stay safe". "From day one, she has brought incredible passion and specificity to the role", Schenk and Cardea said in a joint statement (via Variety).

Perrette has declined to respond through her representatives. 'Over a year ago, Pauley came to us with a workplace concern.

It also bears noting that, in the Daily Mail article featuring Shivers, it was revealed that Pauley Perrette had taken a restraining order out against him - something that had only recently been revealed in open court, since she claimed she was "embarrassed" to be associated with him. "We are committed to a safe work environment on all our shows", it read. She wrote, "They have always been so good to me and always had my back".

Perrette's final NCIS episode aired last Friday.

While it sounds like the matter has been resolved prior to her NCIS exit, it remains to be seen whether or not Perrette will pursue any other avenues in the future.

Perrette previously dispelled rumors that the minds behind NCIS or the executives at CBS were mad at her and wanted her gone, or that she was leaving to pursue her own line of skincare products (yes, people genuinely believed that freakish rumor), and explained that she just felt her time on the show should come to a close.
