The Super Eagles will hope to improve on their latest FIFA Ranking of 47 in the world after forthcoming friendlies against better rated teams England, Czech Republic and DR Congo.

South Africa are unmoved, and will end the month 72nd in the world and 15th in Africa, while Benin are the continent's biggest climbers.

According to the rankings, seven global "A" matches, all friendlies, took place in the month and as a result there are few movers in the latest ranking.

There was no movement in the top 47 with Germany, Brazil and Belgium retaining the first three spots on the ranking.

DR Congo, ranked third in Africa and 38th in the world, will not be in Russian Federation.

However, in Africa, the World Cup-bound Super Eagles remain sixth.

Kenya's next opponent in the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier Ghana, moved a place up while Uganda remains the top-most East African country at position 74 in the world.

NAIJ.com previously reported that in the April edition of the Federation Internationale de Football Association ranking, Nigeria Super Eagles have been named the 47th best team in the world by the governing body.

Argentina, favourites in Group D, are 5th in the World, while Croatia and Iceland are 18th and 22nd respectively.
