The Crimean Bridge, the motorway section of which opened on May 15, appeared on Google Maps on Thursday.

According to investigators, Russian judges made their decisions in accordance with regulations of national and worldwide laws.

The Ukrainian defendants are suspected of prosecution of persons known to be innocent, according to Russia's Investigative Committee.

In early May, a criminal case was opened against a top official of the Ukrainian Chief Military Prosecutor's Office Vadim Priymachok and his colleagues over prosecution of Russian judges. The decision was prompted by the ouster of the democratically-elected president of Ukraine in a violent coup in Kiev, and the installation of a nationalist-backed government that nearly immediately declared war on the pro-Russia regions in the country's southeast, which refused to recognize the newly imposed regime.

"Russia continues to demonstrate a clear disregard for worldwide law", Cazalet said, adding that North Atlantic Treaty Organisation will not recognise Russia's 2014 annexation of Crimea.

Public opinion polls conducted in subsequent years have shown that the overwhelming majority of the peninsula's population believes that reunification with Russian Federation was the right choice. Over 96 percent of those who took part in the polls voted for joining Russian Federation.
