People gather at a sidewalk memorial for two children who were killed in March when they were struck by a auto driven by a woman who likely had a seizure behind the wheel, in the Park Slope neighborhood of the Brooklyn borough of NY.

Broadway star Ruthie Ann Miles has lost her unborn baby two months after her 4-year-old daughter was fatally hit by a vehicle.

The actress whose daughter was fatally struck by a driver in Park Slope lost the baby she was pregnant with at the time of the crash, her lawyer said Wednesday. Miles and husband Jonathan Blumenstein were expecting the child later in May. "This past Friday, Ruthie and Jonathan lost their baby, Sophia Rosemary Wong Blumenstein".

"The pain suffered by Ruthie and Jonathan is almost impossible to fathom", Rubinowitz said in a statement sent to CBS2.

In March, Miles and her daughter, Abigail Blumenstein, were hit when a driver ran a red light in Brooklyn, New York City.

Bruns' lawyer pleaded not guilty on her behalf. Bruns was indicted earlier this month. Prosecution told Peoplemagazine that Bruns was arraigned on charges of "manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide and assault".
