Now, TMZ reports her estranged half-sister, Samantha Grant, was in a auto accident on Monday in Florida.

Entertainment website TMZ reports Samantha's boyfriend told them the couple have had a "confrontation" with the paparazzi. She declined to reveal exactly what she bought because "then it wouldn't be a surprise".

After news broke that Meghan Markle's father won't be attending the royal wedding due to a heart surgery - just days ahead of the nuptials to Prince Harry on Saturday - another member of the controversial clan landed in the hospital on Wednesday.

Mark stated Samantha, who has MS, hit the windscreen and fell into the footwell however was unable to life herself again up. According to Markle's companion, there was a photographer in the other vehicle and he was trying to get a good shot of Samantha and himself. Samantha Grant said on Twitter she came up with the idea to have their father photographed in order to paint him in a positive light.

The paparazzo fled the scene, and E.R. doctors are now treating Samantha.

The news comes after reports that Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, 73, will not be attending her and Prince Harry's wedding on Saturday in the United Kingdom due to health issues. So I suggested it. She's way out of her league to tell me that I can't speak.

Thomas had three stents placed in his blood vessels after suffering a heart attack.

She's been so media hungry that Piers Morgan of Good Morning Britain called her a "media vulture", and no matter how much Meghan wishes she'd just stop talking, she won't do it. We can assume that she's speaking about her soon-to-be royal half-sister here. Samantha recently told Channel Four, during their program Meet The Markles, that some people in her family have an "air of entitlement about even a wedding invite".

Photos emerged last week of Thomas making preparations for his daughter's big day.
