Pennsylvania Voters Head To Polls For Primary Election

Lumpkin County voters will cast their ballots on Tuesday, May 22, in the General Primary, non-partisan general and special election at Parks & Rec building.

And, as partial repayment for those efforts, the least the rest of us could do is get our ballots in on time.

Election and party officials were still waiting a judge's decision Tuesday evening as polls across Idaho were preparing to officially close.

There will also be an important issue for fire safety on the back of each ballot so be sure to turn your ballot over and vote on that.

Voter turnout was light for Nebraska's 2018 primary election.

Voters can cast their ballots from 8 a.m. -7p.m.

Sarpy County Election Commissioner Michelle Andahl said the same was true for her county.

San Diego County Registrar of Voters is sending courtesy postcards to two groups of county voters to reduce unnecessary provisional voting at the polls on June 5.

Total turnout in May 2014, Oregon's most recent non-presidential nominating election, reached just 35.5 percent. That year saw 12,188 Democrats, 5,479 Republicans and no Libertarians, as the third party was not certified for the primary.

As of 9 a.m. Monday, about 19 percent had turned in their ballots, compared with the previous low of 25 percent the Monday before the 2014 primary.

Secretary of State John Gale had predicted a statewide turnout of 28 percent of registered voters. If they do not, they might not receive their mail ballot or voting information. A primary election can be the deciding election for an office if there is no other competition seeking election for that office.

Dunagan said any person who has submitted a voter registration application and who has not received a response within 30 days should contact the County Election Board office.
