This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten, or redistributed. The Portland and One Stop Gardens brand chain saws are green and black and have "Portland" printed on the blades. The Chicago Electric branded chainsaw has a red and black color scheme with the name "CHICAGO ELECTRIC" printed on the chainsaw's handle. Portland brand saws have model numbers 67255 or 61592, and Once Stop Gardens brand saws have model numbers 67255 or 61592.

Harbor Freight Tools has recalled more than a million 14-inch chainsaws because the power switch can malfunction.

Rather, the company is asking people to return their chain saws to their local Harbor Freight Tools stores in exchange for a new one, the statement said.

The defective chainsaws were sold at Harbor Freight stores across the country and online from May 2009 through February 2018 for about $50 each. CPCS states replacements will be available starting May 21.

Harbor Freight Tools can be reached by email or at 800-444-3353 Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. PT.
