Later in the summer, Valve will launch a Steam Video app, allowing users to enjoy the thousands of movies and shows available on Steam directly via their Android and iOS devices over Wi-Fi or LTE. With this app you should be able to stream your games from your desktop to your Android device, provided it is on the same network and connected using Ethernet or a 5 GHz WiFi connection.

I have installed it on my Android phone and but I have not had the time to test it extensively yet. But how exactly does this work and how can you play your PC games from your couch on a smaller device? To help with that, Valve has also recently put out (at least on the Steam beta client, though it might be live now) a firmware update for the Steam Controller, enabling Bluetooth LE.

Once you install it, you have to pair it with a PC running Steam on your local network (and possibly install a driver or two).

The app will feature support for the Steam Controller, MFI controllers, and more across both platforms.

You can grab it from the Play Store below, or from APKMirror.
