The 10-episode first season of Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists is expected to debut some point in 2019. With the order, Freeform now has three spinoffs on its roster, including Grown-ish and its offshoot of The Fosters.

On Monday, Variety confirmed the network's decision to order Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists to series.

The Perfectionist is set Beacon Heights - a seemingly ideal suburban town where a group of college students struggle with their "overachiever" status. King (Pretty Little Liars, Famous in Love) wrote the pilot and serves as executive producer on the series with Charlie Craig (Pretty Little Liars, The 100), Lisa Cochran-Neilan (Pretty Little Liars, Famous in Love), Leslie Morgenstein (Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries) and Gina Girolamo (The 100, The Originals).

So we already knew that Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish would be reprising their PLL characters, Alison and Mona, for the show, and fans will be thrilled to hear that the trailer shows a lot of them. In the wake of the town's first murder, each of them will hide behind a secret, a lie and an alibi. Sofia Carson, Sydney Park, Eli Brown, Graeme Thomas King, Kelly Rutherford and Hayley Erin round out the cast.

Alloy Entertainment and Long Lake Media in association with Warner Horizon Scripted Television are producing the series. The prediction from Sofia's character looks to be true, as the trailer closes with images of police tape, and Alison seemingly exploring a crime scene.

PLL's first spin-off, Ravenswood, appeared on ABC Family, now Freeform, in 2013, and was cancelled after just one season.
