A woman could be facing charges after an irate confrontation at a Langley Tim Hortons Monday ended in feces being thrown at staff.

The disturbing video was leaked onto the internet Tuesday, and begins with what appears to be a heated argument between a woman and a worker at a cash register. She then pulls down her trousers, proceeds to defecate on the floor, and then picks it up and flings it at the employee. She then scoops up the excrement and tosses it over the counter.

She was arrested and later released with a court date set.

The spokesperson said their current understanding of the situation is that the woman was denied access to the restroom due to "past behavior".

The worker was anxious that letting her in could impact "the immediate safety" of customers and other employees, the spokesperson said, though the concerns were not specified.

The RCMP confirmed to The Province that they received a complaint and attended to the scene.

"We are aware of the video and did attend", said Langley RCMP Cpl.
