After ending up a lowly 6th last campaign, in 2017/18, Manchester United finished 4 points above Spurs, 6 points above Liverpool and 11 points above Chelsea - and enjoyed a much-improved record in the top six mini-league beating all the other 5 sides at least once in the season. Three with Juventus, one with Chelsea.

The Blues are only expected to be without two first-team players for Saturday's final.

But the Spain worldwide is hoping to help spoil Mourinho's day on Saturday, when the Blues take on United in the FA Cup final, according to Sky Sports. In November, the Blues claimed a 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge, and in February, United registered a 2-1 win in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford.

"You can analyse the way you want to".

There is speculation that Javier Zanetti, who played under Mourinho at Inter Milan, is one of the names in frame. "We can't make the season right because the Champions League qualification is gone".

Since signing for United, Sanchez has struggled to have the same impact as he had at Arsenal, but the Chilean is someone who can change a game.

"What United have done under Mourinho is very, very good progress".

Showing signs of cracking under the strain of Chelsea's turbulent season, Conte has been drawn into a series of petty and increasingly bitter exchanges with former Chelsea boss Mourinho.

As ever in a game involving Mourinho and Conte, the battle on the touchline will nearly be as intriguing as the one out on the pitch.

The Chelsea manager has been the centre of criticism this season after failing to emulate the previous title-winning season.

Now their hopes of winning the Cup for the first time since 2012 lie largely with Belgium playmaker Hazard.

Mourinho has at least ensured Champions League qualification for next season via a second-place finish in the Premier League. The early years of Fabregas's stint at Arsenal coincided with Mourinho's arrival as manager of Chelsea, while he was also part of a Barcelona side that was vying for Spanish supremacy with Mourinho's Real Madrid.

"He's a fantastic player". When he's on his day he can be unstoppable. "I owe him a lot because he brought me here, I will always remember that", Cesc Fabregas said of Jose Mourinho.

The 20-year-old England global believes a record-equalling 13th FA Cup triumph on Saturday would provide the team with a huge morale boost after they finished a distant second to Manchester City without really mounting a title challenge.

Whichever team uses the cavernous Wembley pitch best to their advantage will have a big chance of winning the game. We can not stand still.
