Sprint remembered and announced a strikingly similar plan tailor-made for those either close or already eligible for Social Security benefits. Subscribers don't have to enroll in AutoPay to take advantage of the offer, but those who do get a $5-per-line credit per month.

Sprint's plan includes access to Global Roaming, and (again, like T-Mobile's) the ability to stream videos in 480p, as well as to provide unlimited mobile hotspot data at 3G speeds.

The amenities run a little short of Unlimited Freedom's stipulations: while there is unlimited data, there's a 480p resolution cap on video streaming, a speed limit of 2Mbps for gaming, 500kbps for music and 3G speeds for hotspot data up to 10GB after which point they slow to 2G. T-Mobile's offering has all of the same features and basically the same limitations in terms of speed, but if you were shopping around and wanted to see about coverage, it's good to know there are options out there.
