The four are believed to have filmed the video for the World Cup track over the weekend. However, Reggaeton producer DJ Nelson, said the track is "big" and "just so insane".

According to a recent interview with Nicky Jam's manager Juan Diego Medina that aired on W Radio, Jam and Smith were in Budapest wrapping up the record, which is set to be released on Friday (May 25).

Smith and Jam have been seen in Cartegena, Colombia, with producer DJ Nelson telling music website Vibe they would be performing the song for this summer's tournament in Russian Federation.

"Nicky Jam and Will Smith are producing the new copa de futbol (soccer World Cup), they're doing it together", he said.

Past anthems for the World Cup include Shakira's "Waka Waka" and Ricky Martin's "The Cup of Life".

It will be Smith's first foray into the music scene since 2015 when he featured in Colombian band Bomba Estéreo's "Fiesta".

Noel Gallagher also revealed who he's tipping to win the World Cup, upsetting England fans across the country. "They're making this big song and it's just so insane."Allegedly, Smith and Nicky were in Budapest recently finishing the song".

In 2014, Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez teamed up to headline the official song for the World Cup in Brazil.

The World Cup gets underway on June 14 with Russian Federation facing Saudi Arabia at 4pm GMT at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium. Jason Derulo and J Balvin also appear on promotional songs for this year's competition.
