Rockets Vs. Warriors Game 6 Live Stream

The energy and the shots saved the Warriors from a lackluster and potentially deadly start.

Some hot long-range shooting from guards Klay Thompson and Steph Curry saw Golden State romp to victory over Houston to level up the NBA's Western Conference finals series.

"I think he'll play as soon as he can", D'Antoni said before the game Saturday. "I probably sounded more vocal than I am".

Their Eastern Conference final is also tied at 3 games apiece.

"Please don't go there", begged Durant, bowing his head.

They wanted their defense to lead to offense - we've heard Steve Kerr and his players say that so often over the last four years it's nearly become a punchline - but it was on the menu Saturday.

Actually, that volcanic performance by Thompson helped convince Durant to leave Oklahoma City, which led to last year's championship and helped build a solid case for the Warriors to repeat next month. Yes, Klay Thompson channeled the supernatural.

"Defensively we've got to be in tune and be engaged for 48 minutes". And a Chris Paul at 70% likely still makes the Rockets a better team than if they don't have him at all. I mean, we all thought we were going to win Game 6, right? The Rockets' version of strength in numbers is launching as many 3-pointers as possible and hitting enough to win a heck of a lot more often than not.

Paul is scheduled to be re-evaluated when the team returns to Houston.

Houston needed a third scorer to join Gordon and leading NBA MVP candidate James Harden sans Paul. He wasn't a factor and neither was the bench.

Houston has two days to recover and hope Paul can have a medical miracle.

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry shoots against the Houston Rockets during the first half of Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals in Oakland on Saturday.

The Warriors outscored the Rockets 64-25 in the second half, limiting Harden to 10 points after the break. The only negative was that forward Andre Iguodala missed his third-straight game with a leg injury and appears doubtful to play Monday despite telling The Undefeated he is "questionable".

It used to be he struggled to shake off a bad night, or even a bad start to a game. None of them have distinguished themselves since Iguodala suffered a bone bruise on his left knee in Game 3. Those three things and playing smart.

Likely without Paul, all eyes will be on Harden in arguably the biggest game thus far in his projected Hall of Fame career. Obviously, they talked shop.

In times of trouble, the Warriors have relied on a trusted formula: a third-quarter surge.

"If we take the same focus and execute the game plan like we should, I have all the confidence in the world in this team [to win Game 7]". "They see the challenge. whether CP's there or not, it's a heck of a challenge, and they're up to it". Using the momentum, they never looked back. "If not, we need to be ready".

A massive opportunity awaits James Harden and the Houston Rockets on Saturday night.

D'Antoni said: "It should be a great game".
